About Nanang Rusmana

• Before Graduated from Interior Design STISI Bandung in 1999, I worked on as a Lecturer Assistant in Interior Dept. STISI Bandung and as a Furniture Designer INDECO. After Graduated with a bachelor degree in Interior Design I worked on Dipta Hira Djaya CV as a Head of Research and Development Design Rattan Furniture for more than 2 Years, in which I pick up much experience in how to develop Rattan Furniture from traditional handicraft become a modern industrial.

• I recognized that design is not simple accumulation of functions, instead, it integrates user behavior and psychology with user experience throughout the design process.

• I love to focus on user needs and behavior, pay attention to communicating with users and learn more about the related knowledge.

• The accumulation of projects gave me an in-depth understanding that interaction design is not a simple presentation of visual interface and action – it solves the problems of communication between people and things, which makes the product effective, easy to use and pleasant.⁹
